Rocking the house for less than a hundred guests, The Volunteers of the U S Army Field Band put on a fabulous free concert at the Mick Spellman Amphitheater on Thursday night. The Lady Falcons had a sub-par performance against the visiting Royce City Bulldogs on Tuesday night and ended their season with a loss. The loss resulted in the Falcons falling out of a tie for second place in their district with cross town rival Forney High School and into third place heading into the playoffs.

On Wednesday evening the youngest of Forney’s residents turned out in mass to enjoy Trunk-or-Treating at First United Methodist Church in Forney.
